ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Lotion Review

This post contains affiliate links. Product provided by Jolse.

It’s not secret that I run one of the largest Asian skincare groups on Facebook, Korean Beauty Fanatics. Lots and lots of products get recommended there, but I kept seeing the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion over and over. I even joked about making it into a drinking game (and then quickly realized I would die of alcohol poisoning).

Tada! I finally have a bottle of my very own, provided by Jolse. It’s available on their site and in their eBay store.

The lotion can be used on the face or the body and comes in a variety of sizes. I have the largest 350ml bottle, because I mostly wanted to use it for the body. It contains Ceramide Skin Complex™ with encapsulated ceramide. Even the pump is special - it prevents air inflow and has a special design to avoid deforming the container until the last drop of the lotion.

The formula is fragrance and essential oil free.

How to use:

  • Apply at the end of skincare (before SPF, if using in the morning) on the face

  • Apply any time to the body - I like to do it while the skin is still damp from bathing

The cream is rich and luxurious but not sticky. I don’t notice a scent. Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion is very easy to spread and gets absorbed quickly. I slip and call this a cream all the time, regardless of the “lotion” name, because of the texture.

My impressions

This is one of the best things to ever happen to my skin. I can 100% see what all the hype was about. And this time, it’s actually well deserved.

I tried Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion on my face and it’s great - my skin is combination with some oily and some dry zones. However, I already have way too many face products. On the body it does miracles. My legs and arms are soft and smooth without sticking to my jeans / pajamas. One of the main reasons I usually do nothing to the skin on my body is because I can’t stand the feeling of sticky or greasy skin under clothes (or sticking to the couch / bed without clothes. TMI, sorry). I don’t have those issues with Illiyoon. Try it for yourself and see what all the rage is about.

I like this so much that it ended up in my Body Care Favorites video. Spoiler alert - this isn’t the only Illiyoon product I got, so hang in there for more reviews.
