Klavuu Nourishing Lip Sleeping Pack review

Even though I am an avid fan of skincare, there are certain areas I tend to neglect - hands, body, and lips all fall into that category. I’ve been trying to do better, especially since mask mandates are lifting and I can finally wear lipstick again! I was never much into lip makeup in the first place, until I couldn’t really wear it for a year. Now I’m all about it.

I’ve been using Klavuu Nourishing Lip Sleeping Pack. It’s available on Oshen Skin (use my code kbhobbit10 for extra savings). Learn more about Oshen Skin and see how carefully they package everything, including this mask, in my unboxing video.

This beautiful, vanilla-scented lip mask promises to soften and nourish the lips while you sleep. I also find that it works super well as lip gloss during the day.

The formula is rich and glorious and features avocado, apricot, sweet almond, and castor oils plus vitamin E for max nourishment. The pearl extract is likely what gives the product its subtle shine. The little tub with a twist-off lid is made of glass, which always adds a certain feeling of luxury to skincare.

How to use:

  • Apply to clean, dry lips

  • Can be used any time of the day or before going to bed

My impressions

This is probably my favorite lip mask out of the ones I’ve tried. Admittedly, I haven’t had too many since the tubs only seem little - they actually take forever to finish. I like the texture and the results much better than what I got from the iconic Laneige (which also wasn’t bad).

I keep the Klavuu Nourishing Lip Sleeping pack on my nightstand and use it every night. I’ve been waking up with soft, nourished lips that are ready for any makeup I’m going to throw at them. If anything feels dry or chapped during the day (which hasn’t happened since I’ve been consistent with my nightly Klavuu use), then I apply more during the day as well. It looks like lip gloss but isn’t as messy. Expect some transfer to mugs, however. My favorite way to use this mask is after a lip scrub. I try to remember to exfoliate the lips at least once a week, currently using this one.

My one small wish would be for it to come with an applicator or even in a tube, maybe. The formula feels great on the lips, but definitely makes my finger sticky. So it would be great to have some kind of dedicated thing to dip into the jar. I think the consistency of the balm would allow for it to be packaged in a tube. Of course, a glass jar looks much better from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

I like the smell - it’s pleasant and “warm” (can smells be warm?) and makes me feel safe, like when I was a little kid and helped my grandma bake delicious-smelling cookies. Must be that vanilla note. It definitely doesn’t linger, so even if I disliked it it wouldn’t be a big deal.

I think that’s about it. Great mask, definitely give it a try. And if you already have, please leave me a comment and tell me what you think of it.
