Until somewhat recently, Romand was a completely new-to-me brand. Over the last year, I got a chance to try some of their lip glosses and even eyeshadow (review here) and became a Romand fan.
I won Romand Juicy Lasting Tint in a giveaway. It comes in 9 highly pigmented shades and promises gorgeous, glossy lips without oiliness. My color is called Litchi Coral. The tint can be used for all over application or to create the iconic gradient lip look. The tint / gloss comes in a familiar twist top tube with a doe foot applicator. It’s easy to use and glides on effortlessly. I don’t notice much of a scent, but my sense of smell isn’t totally back after an illness yet.
My impressions
Another win from Romand! I’ve loved all of the lip tints of theirs that I’ve tried, with the exception of the velvet one (it doesn’t go on very smoothly and is a bit too matte for my liking). This Juicy Lasting Tint is simply lovely - it’s a pleasure to apply, doesn’t draw attention to any dry areas of the lips, and doesn’t irritate my skin.
The shiny / glossy top layer does wear off eventually, but it fades quite evenly and not splotchy. So even without reapplying, my lips still look fine all day. A bit of a tint is left behind after the gloss is gone. I wouldn’t consider this a very long lasting product, but that’s not a deal breaker. I will take a comfortable texture and no lip dryness over long wear any time.
