Dr.Ceuracle Scalp DX Voluming Treatment Review

This post contains affiliate links. Product provided by Jolse.

Hair is a major pain point for me and it’s nothing like I want it to be. I would love to have thick, wavy or curly locks (preferably red), but my natural hair is blonde, fine, thin, and very straight. I’m constantly on the lookout for something to help thicken and volumize, or at least give an appearance of thickness (check out my hair shadow review here).

Dr.Ceuracle Scalp DX Voluming Treatment, available on Jolse, caught my eye with its promises to remove impurities, thicken locks, and ensure a healthy scalp. It contains a plant based protein complex to strengthen the hair and promote growth plus exfoliating PHA.

How to use

  • Apply to hair and scalp after shampooing

  • Rinse thoroughly after several minutes

I never put conditioner or hair masks on my scalp or roots, because they are already oily and I don’t want to weigh them down. However, when the product is marketed as being specifically for the scalp, I make an exception. Dr.Ceuracle Scalp DX Voluming Treatment has a rich, creamy texture and a pleasant, mild scent.

My impressions

I was hoping to use this treatment the way I use the Ryo one (review here) - to provide some much needed volume to the roots. However, Dr.Ceuracle is too rich for my scalp and roots. As promised, it makes the hair shiny and soft, but also weighs it down and makes the roots look greasy even on the first day after washing.

Instead of applying this as a scalp treatment, I now use Dr.Ceuracle as a hair mask and spread it from the ear level to the ends. This way, it works great. My hair is tangle free and glossy looking, and the roots / scalp aren’t affected. Someone who has very dry scalp and hair may benefit from applying this all over, as intended by the manufacturer.

Overall, it’s not a bad product but isn’t suitable for my scalp. I will keep it as a deep conditioner for use once to twice a week.
