My daily makeup is very simple - a little powder and mascara and maybe some lip tint. I’m pretty picky about mascara - it needs to be easy to apply, look good, not flake / smudge, and be relatively easy to remove.
I’ve been using Missha 4D Mascara lately - a volumizing product that promises to lift and thicken every single lash. It’s available on Jolse and in their eBay shop.
How to use
Curl the lashes, if desired
Apply using a zigzag motion
My impressions
I’m not a fan of this mascara but I also don’t hate it. It doesn’t flake or smudge, comes off easily with any of my cleansing oils / balms, and darkens the lashes. However, I do not find that it adds much thickness or length at all. My lashes still look like my lashes, just darker. I like something a little more dramatic, like the Heimish mascara (review here).
I think someone who was blessed with naturally thick and / or long lashes and simply wants them to appear darker would love this. Or perhaps someone who desires the “no-makeup makeup” look. As for me, I need something more.
I will attempt to use up Missha 4D mascara, but I wouldn’t repurchase it. There are many other great Korean options in a similar price range, like this Missha one.
Have you tried this one? What did you think?
