A good aloe gel is a very versatile product that’s worth looking into. I’m currently using one by The Saem.
The Saem Jeju Fresh Aloe Soothing Gel is made with real aloe juice from Jeju island. It’s available on* Jolse. There are no parabens, artificial colorants, benzophenone, animal-originated ingredients, PEG, PG, or formaldehyde.
Some aloe gel uses:
Face / body moisturizer
Leave-in hair treatment (apply to damp, clean hair)
With microcurrent devices
I keep aloe gel on hand to use with my NuFace microcurrent device. I’ve had my device for several years, and I find that kbeauty aloe gels work just as well, if not better. They are easy to apply, more affordable, and easier to rinse off at the end.
The Saem Jeju Fresh Aloe Soothing Gel comes in such a large bottle that I use it as a body moisturizer too. It will be especially nice in the summer, when heavier body lotions aren’t as pleasant to apply.
My impressions
This gel is so awesome. It’s not my first (or even third) kbeauty aloe gel, but it may be my favorite. It’s somehow thick without being sticky, and makes my legs soooo soft and smooth. It works just fine with NuFace as well.
The only thing I would potentially change is the fragrance. I actually like the scent, but it’s a bit on the strong side and tends to stick around for some time.
When used as a body moisturizer, the gel absorbs quite well and doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue. I would caution you against using this on sunburnt skin because of the fragrance (a damaged skin barrier + potentially irritating fragrance is not a good combo). On my healthy but somewhat dry body skin, it does really well.
I was honestly expecting just another aloe gel that’s pretty much the same as what I’ve had before, but the texture / pleasant thickness really surprised me. I prefer this to the other formulas I’ve had so far.
